Farragut Invests in Particle Dynamics, Inc.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Farragut Capital Partners, Inc. is pleased to announce the closing of an investment in Particle Dynamics, Inc., a portfolio company of Cleveland, Ohio-based Edgewater Capital Partners.  Farragut led the transaction to support the Company’s continued growth and was joined by BroadOak Capital Partners.  Particle Dynamics marks the sixth investment of Farragut’s second SBIC fund, which held its initial close in September 2018.

Particle Dynamics is an innovative global leader in particle processing technologies and finished dose manufacturing, providing a wide range of products and services to the nutraceutical, consumer health, OTC, and pharmaceutical sectors.  Operating from FDA-inspected facilities in St. Louis, Missouri and Seymour, Indiana, the Company offers services including spray drying, complex granulation, microencapsulation, and finished dosage manufacturing.  Particle Dynamics is also a recognized global leader in the supply of highly functional materials and a variety of microencapsulated vitamins, minerals, and OTC active pharmaceutical ingredients.
