Farragut Capital Partners Spring 2018 Update
WASHINGTON, D.C. - Farragut Capital Partners, LLC ("Farragut") is pleased to report that it has made its third investment of the year and has two realizations to date in 2018.
Investment in Arandell Corp.
Farragut marked its third transaction of the first quarter with a subordinated debt investment in Arandell Corp., a Wisconsin-based commercial printing business focused on high-quality retail catalogs. Farragut's investment supported the addition of a second facility in Kentucky and is the second time Farragut has partnered with Arandell's management team.
"We partnered with Farragut when I bought the company in 2014, and now four years later we partnered with them again to capitalize on this strategic opportunity with the expansion acquisition of the Kentucky facility," said Bradley Hoffman, president and CEO of Arandell. "The Kentucky plant will initially employee at least 50 people at start up with an aim to expand up to 200 employees as we ramp up to full production."
Exits of Stone Road Energy and reQuire
Stone Road Energy, a New England-based provider of heating oil and propane to residential customers, refinanced Farragut's subordinated debt and redeemed its warrant. Farragut invested in the company in 2016 to support a strategic acquisition.
reQuire, a Virginia-based provider of technology-enabled real estate settlement services, sold to Lender Live Services. Farragut provided debt and an equity co-investment to support the recapitalization of the company by L2 Capital in 2014.
